Pastor Harry L. Kaufhold, Jr
Pastor Harry L. Kaufhold Jr. was born in Lancaster, Pa. and has served a number of United Methodist Churches in eastern Pennsylvania. He graduated from Elizabethtown College as a mathematics major, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary.
He is a trained psychotherapist, a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Pennsylvania. He enjoys sports, and is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Flyers and Eagles (when they are winning), likes to fish, and is the world's worst golfer (but can't give up the game completely).
Pastor Peter J Wolfgang
Peter served as Lead Pastor at several churches in Ohio before joining to serve as Pastor of Outreach at Community UMC in Summer of 2025. Originally from rural Ohio, Peter migrated to New York City to earn degrees from NYU and Columbia University. After spending the better part of two decades moving between NYC, LA, and Sweden, Peter returned home to Ohio in 2021, when he felt a call to ministry.
Peter is deeply involved in community ministry, especially teaching and working with recovering addicts, those returning from carceral environments, the unhoused, and others on the margins of societal power structures. He is a practicing visual artist and serves on the Board of Directors of the Giancarlo Ditrapano Foundation for Literature and the Arts. He is currently at work on a Master's in Divinity at Duke Divinity School.
Steve Mitchell, Pianist
Steve Mitchell, our organist / pianist lives in Smithville with his wife Gail. Has two children, Brandon husband of Angie in Richmond VA, and Kristin wife of Ryan Bowe in Glen Mills PA, and 2 Grandchildren of Kristin, Justin and Wyatt.
Retired from G.R. Mitchell, Inc. Building Supplies in Willow Street PA. On the board of the Strasburg Railroad. Graduated from Elizabethtown College 1973
Interests are taking care of his 20 acre property, mowing, cutting trees, general maintenance. Golfing, with a second home in Pinehurst, NC.
Loves retirement and loves Community UMC where he is Chair of the SPRC committee, Co-Chair of the Finance Committee, member of the Administrative Board and Visioning Team. He is also a member of the Worship team where he plays keyboards.

My hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, flowers and getting together with friends and family.
